In the Pending Tasks area of the ePortfolio Home tool, look at the Type column next to the task itself. You will also see the Type column if you access the task from the Courses>Activities menu. The column will let you know whether the task is an Assignment, Course Binder, Portfolio, Survey, or Field Experience.
Once you select an assignment, you will see details of this assignment (instructions, course, due date, etc.)
To attach your file, follow these steps:
Click Select in the Details box, or select the appropriate Artifact type if you're given a drop-down list. "File" is the Artifact type for a general file upload.
Give your Artifact a unique title. This title will help you determine where this file belongs if you later build a portfolio using your existing Artifacts. A good unique title might include the paper name, the course for which it was submitted, and the semester.
Enter a description, if you'd like.
Enter textual content, if you'd like. You can use the Rich Text Formatting toolbar to format your text (e.g., bold, italic, underline).
Click Select File to locate and upload your file. You can also drag and drop it from your computer to the grey Drag and drop file here area.
Click Save to save your changes and not submit, or click Submit Assignment if you're ready to submit.
